Steps to Apply

Make Your Purchase

• Buy the Product Recognition Assessment. This includes the application and review process and your first year badge, if approved.

Mail Your Product

• After purchase, you’ll receive our mailing address. Send one product to us for review at your expense. You will be billed for any additional shipping, customs duties, or any other fees incurred and the assessment will not proceed unless these additional fees are paid.

Product Review

• We’ll assess your product for sensory-friendly features across the eight senses, ensuring it supports people with sensory sensitivities and those affected by 25+ disabilities.

Within 4 weeks, we’ll notify you of the result:

• Approval: You’ll receive a report detailing your product’s sensory-friendly features and the “Sensory Friendly Solutions Recognized” badge with the current year.
• Not Approved: We’ll share feedback and suggestions to improve your product’s sensory-friendly potential.

Renew Annually

• To maintain your recognition, submit an attestation that the product has not changed, pay the annual renewal fee, and receive the updated badge with the next year.
